What is LNK364PN?
An offline switched-mode power supply integrated circuit belonging to the LinkSwitch-XT product family, used for low-power SMPS power supply designs with mains (AC) input. It contains a 700 V rated power MOSFET, oscillator, control circuit and protection blocks. The main function of LNK364PN is to convert mains voltage (AC) into efficient, safe and low-loss DC output with the aid of an external Flyback transformer. Unlike classical PWM controllers, it uses a simple ON/OFF control method.
APPLICATIONS
Used in wireless and mobile phone charging stations and adapters, PDAs, digital cameras, MP3/portable music players, measurement and industrial systems
